A, B, C, D’s of Entrepreneurial Success

SuccessHave you heard that successful people do what others aren’t willing to do?  Well, it’s true! It is also inescapable, so let’s get you started.  After many, many years of trial and error, observations, and talks with other entrepreneurs; you can achieve, maintain, and build success with these 4 important elements:


Your reputation is based on what you say and what you do.  When you don’t practice accountability, you may end up saying a lot more things than you can keep up with, and you won’t be able to build trust and develop fulfilling relationships with others and yourself.

Simple, yet powerful tip: When I want to make myself accountable, I post my promise on Facebook or tell someone because once I say something, I have to do it.

Action: Find an accountability partner and help each other build stellar reputations.


As the Japanese proverb states: Fall down seven timesget up eight.  When you don’t practice bounceability, you will waste a lot of time, emotional, and mental energy trying to pick yourself back up.

Simple, yet powerful tip: It used to take me a month to bounce back until I started reviewing the situation right away, learning from my mistake and trying a different way the next day, so now it barely phases me when I fall down.

Action: Learn from your mistake, fix it, laugh, and then get back up and try again.


Humans don’t like change, so consistency can soothe anxiety and increase your chances of likeability.  The more consistent you are, the more you can help others to like and trust you.  If you consistently practice what you preach, people will be able to gravitate toward you, rely on you and refer others to you.

Simple, yet powerful tip: Whenever you say you will do something, write it down with a deadline and do it.

Action: If you promised that you will do something, make yourself fulfill that promise no matter what.  If you can’t, examine why you keep saying things that you can’t do.



If it were easy, everyone would be doing it!  With anything, discipline takes practice and the more you do it, then more natural it becomes.  This is the missing link for most entrepreneurs and what helps the winners keep winning.

Simple, yet powerful tip: Be accountable, bounceable, and consistent each week so you become disciplined to keep moving forward and gain momentum.

Action: Figure out how to stay disciplined to reap more and more rewards each week.

It comes down to personal choices every day that will result in rewards and consequences.  These simple, yet powerful basics beat brilliance any day, because the little things will add up to BIG things.  Start building your BIGger, brighter future today!
