Book Review: The Resilience Reflex by Zaheen Nanji

The best teachers we can learn from are those who have experienced common (yet uncommonly talked about) challenges firsthand and then are able to translate and formulate a solution filled with their personal wisdom in a unique and impactful voice. Excellent teachers follow-up by delivering  simple, yet powerful steps that can swiftly move you from challenge to solution, thus enabling you to enjoy the life you deserve.

Resilience Reflex Book CoverWith that said, Zaheen Nanji is an excellent teacher who transformed her life through self-discovery by facing hard truths and pushing through them. By accomplishing that, she was then capable of translating and condensing her personal experiences into a wonderful book. This book delivers 8 keys for you to transform barriers into success in life and business. It will help you follow accessible and actionable steps that will comfortably and safely guide you to design a better life for yourself, no matter your circumstances.

This book is not just a personal story, it also contains powerful knowledge and tools for you to truly embrace change. It will also provide you with the ability to bounce back from obstacles quickly and effectively by developing the resilience reflex or what I refer to as  Bounceability™ (the necessary process to adapt to your circumstances and evolve to the next level, no matter your challenges).

All humans resist change, so let’s clear the air about what change is:

  • Change can be an obstacle or a stepping stone.
  • Change can be a wall or a bridge.
  • Change is hard to do on your own.

I hope you choose to embrace change as a stepping stone and bridge to your new life by learning how to build your own resilience reflex.

If you are ready to get unstuck, problem solve, and move forward; this is your book. It will help you turn your pain into purpose and turn your painful past into a beautiful future. Most importantly… become a  lifelongChange resilient champion!

The author, Zaheen Nanji, experienced her first challenge by stuttering at the age of 5. Frozen in fear, she couldn’t even speak up in school. At the age of 15 she moved from Kenya to Canada without her parents where she found herself not even able to answer a simple phone call. Unfortunately, she was too focused on not stuttering that any chance of a solution was blocked out. She was hiChange Quoteding behind a mask of perfectionism (can you relate?).

The irony here is that fear can be your best friend (keeps you “safe”) and your worst enemy (keeps you from doing what you want to do). This created conflict which afflicted her with embarrassment and confusion. Faced with low self-confidence she found her “comfort” in food. Not wanting this to be her life, Zaheen became determined to get to the root of her stuttering manifestation.

Slowly, but surely she started her journey to transform her life. She flipped her obstacles into stepping stones to find her vision, value and voice; now she can help you do the same with her new book, The Resilience Reflex.

If you are looking to achieve the following, this is your book!

•How to manage your emotions and solve problems

•How to get unstuck and take action

•How to move up in life while balancing your other responsibilities

•How to strengthen your attitude, relationship skills, beliefs, and passions

•And much, much more!

Hope you enjoy the road to flex your resiliency muscle to enjoy success in life and business! You can truly have it all.

Power up!®
