ClassesPhotoshop World Conference & Expo took place on September 3rd – 5th, 2014 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas and did not disappoint since the team of innovative instructors offering valuable real-world experience continues to grow in stature, the conference creators get more creative as they strive to outdo themselves from the prior year and the list of expo vendors keeps getting longer.

Over ten years ago, Scott Kelby started this conference from a love of training Photoshop and has evolved this conference, sponsored by Adobe, into the place to be where creative people from all walks of life can actively join together to take part in affordable, hands-on learning that can’t be found anywhere else.

Photoshop World is designed to boost your skills, and proves to be an experience that will help your work, creativity and inspiration climb to new heights. Since there are over 100 classes to choose from, you can customize your learning experience to match your skill level and interests. You can also switch between sessions offered with these 7 tracks of learning: Photoshop skills, photography techniques, graphic design, business, lighting, Lightroom, and Photoshop for photographers.

Whether you are a beginner or expert, teacher or student, hobbyist or professional, you are able to share, network and engage with like-minded, passionate people in a welcoming community.

The expo hall is open to the public and enables you to experience new product demos, participate in live photo shoots, and even get face time with some of your favorite industry professionals. PeachPit, an educational publisher, sponsored KelbyOne Theatre which was full of live demos, a plethora of books and even some book sCaptain Jackignings by top-selling authors.

The conference always has a unique, creative theme and kicks off with an opening keynote from the producers of the show, which are also some of the instructors. This year had a dynamic pirate theme, complete with a professional, engaging and creative opening movie that was filmed on a pirate ship along with a “live” Captain Jack Sparrow character to spice things up.
